interest from ancestry.com

What does the Cirilo name mean?
Spanish: from the personal name Cirilo, from Latin
Cyrillus from Greek Kyrillos meaning ‘of the Lord’. This
name was borne by a large number of early saints, most notably the
theologians Cyril of Alexandria and Cyril of Jerusalem. It was also
the name of one of the Greek evangelists who took Christianity to the
Slavic regions of eastern Europe.

The Italians would do well to find their own name to use. To the world I wearily repeat, "No, I am not Italian".
