These are the bar stools that Lotus brought to me and I am finally getting around to cleaning them up.
A little elbow grease, a wire brush, and some paint leftovers, make the total cost of this little jibby $0.
Lucky for me, I have $0. These are probably from an old Diner, a bit of nostalgia from the past.

The kitchen table always makes an excellent work bench.
I learned this from Dad.
Nice stools, great price. Love them.
Glad to see the barstools making a comeback! I thought they were very retro and posh, deserving of a new life. So glad you wanted them! Nice job! Expect to see you tomorrow maybe around lunch time, depends on mama's morning but she's been doing great so expecting the same.
jacqueline loves these. shes been looking for some she likes for a while and hasn't had any luck.
these should be bolted to the floor & are intended to be stationary, they will tip easily with little ones around.
what does she want bar stools for? they will let you sit on them for free at the corner bar.
wow.. photoshop rocks!! -aaron
ha, true but she has a bar at home that she whats to dress up with stools of this very style which she likes. it will add a bit more seating to her kitchen area. though she is satisfied with her table it only holds four chairs and it has a glass top, so to eat occasionally at the bar would be far less clean up than having to continually wipe down little finger prints from that glass table. so if lotus finds more cast offs like these, whisk them this way. jacqueline will be happy to have brad bolt them down.
here is a place that makes replicas of the 1950's style bar stools and some other cool stuff: http://www.barsandbooths.com/bandbbarstools.htm
i asked them to email price for curiosity but haven't received it yet. i didn't have time to do a through search for authentic vintage stools, but the repros look exactly like these, only newer.
those are cool barstools. i thought it was a very lucky find. i liked them myself but have so little room we can't keep everything i like. i am very happy byron liked them well enough to spiffy them up. if he gets tired of them, he can send them back to me ... maybe by then i will have more room, as i'm not expecting him to tire of them for ages (if then). lol.
