been begging for one of these trees
I been workin' it to get most of this done by today. With a lot of help from sis (you may catch a glimpse of a lotus blossom), as well as my doll, who always supports me, and helps out more than these pictures can ever show. These pictures show, in no particular order, some of the before & after progress that we have made over the last few weeks. Many things have been on the to-do list, such as Kay's new fence, new seals and porch for the kid's house, and taking out some of the crossties. More toiling to go.

Looks like stuff is rowing already! Nice new furniture too!
new furniture? where?
the freebies!
I saw Lotus, Lydia, and Dolly eyeing your furniture. I'll keep it at my house to safeguard them for you.
So much color around the place... beautiful.
This is stain or paint? either way, it's great.
nice!
I see you've gotten your Holloween scarecrow out already...
She's wrong, I see it.
They are pretty. Good for you.
We can hardly wait until we can see it all in real time. We empathize with all the hard work, but share the excitement of the payoff. So nice.
Is this expensive to do?
You can see I have my knee pads and my gardening apron on. Gloves too, but you can't really see those. I was up to some serious business with that planting! :) I didn't do it all by myself tho. The "boss" of the casa was working too. Don't let him fool you!
to keep booger bears away
Yes, and given time, they will grow wide.
Shouldn't be for a home depot contractor. This is a $200 fence. Privacy lattice $20, 6x6 treated post $25, Not having to hear the ol' lady gripe about the falling down fence, $priceless.
Stain. and a clear coat sealer.
Then they better know a welder. Both the bench and one of the chairs (cast iron) needs repairs.
Told her so.
Couldn't stop myself, I added a couple more pictures so you can see where I'm going with this.
Really shaping up, looks soooo good!
i sent you a p.m. re bed and ... going to crash. early morning to get mama to ferriday by 8:15 AM. she's sleeping, but restlessly.
your not kidding! byron always finds the best freebies.
I know a good freebie when I see it, I have been schooled in the art of junk collecting.
BTW, I have taken down three fabric wall panels from the Eola's bar, to be replaced with mirrors.
Like 36"x 8', with a Persian motif. Couldn't bring myself to throw them away, figured some seamstress would know what to do.
you bet!
