Our trip to the local nursery yielded many good finds. We tore up a lot of stuff and boy, was it HOT! Like a trip to the Amazon, we brought back many specimens, horn worms included, and are trying to propagate them in our own climate. I told Mama that she would have to come and see her plants in our gardens and she agreed. We are working hard to finally landscape our lawn and with a lot of help and Lotus' generosity, we are slowly making it a reality. I still intend to post those belated pictures when I have some spare time.

This arbor is covered with a purple clematis and a new dawn climbing rose, and when in bloom, is beyond beautiful. The rose blooms very early spring with pale, pale pink roses. They are so pale they are almost white. At the end of their blooming season, the petals drifted to the ground looking as though they'd been strewn purposely for a wedding. Quite lovely.
hahaha. that's how i feel when i see the pics.
in her hair. :) our sweet mamabird. kailani too.
in this set, the cameras are not being kind to either of us. you forgot the golden rule; hold your head up, put your shoulders back, hold that stomach in! oft quoted by dad when we slouched.
Lotta pretty pictures. Lovely color, and beautiful people.
lol. you're so right. i was thinking the same thing: hold that gut in and shoulders back, dummy!
I love the big leaf plant?
So Sweet!
:) Yea you both look like you could use some sleep in this one!
I was thinking the same thing watching them that day. :)
If I were to meet you on the street, I would not recognize you. Where has the time gone?
Cheer up!! Things aren't that bad! There's a rainbow behind that cloud!!
Nice pictures. I do good taking pictures, let alone putting them on the internet.
