Race Day2

This is after his qualifying run, which places in in the correct bracket for similar estimated timed vehicles.

Darrell recently acquired an old Bronco, and after some slight modifications and tune ups, enters it in a couple of local competitions. A mud competition in Natchez, which I didn't get to attend, and this one, the last race of the season at Sandy Lake. Had to take off early from work to watch him run in E.T competition on a dirt track, even had the privilege of riding along on his final run.

That looks like soooooo much fun, my boys were into motorcycle racing and I really enjoyed watching them. I'll bet you had alot of fun riding along.

Looks like a blast. I'm sure it was noisy. Did you wear a helmet. too?

Rules. You have to wear a helmet.
It was fun, and watching some of the home made entries made me want to get my own.
There were some very fast trucks, these guys, and a couple of gals, are serious about their play toys.
Speeds of 90+, and probably over a hundred in this short distance was impressive.
Unfortunately, we left before the 500hp class runs. Heather showed up and caused a conundrum that created a big stink, so... it will be next year before races start again.
Ahh, drama... the joy.

Next news we know you'll be in a dead heat with Tony Stewart.
