Wow! Very snazzy looking too. Has she taken it for a run? How does it do? I'm feeling a bit green (envious, I mean) myself! Looks real sharp and she makes a great model standing there with it. lol.
Why does Sears craftsman get to be a honda now? You can't trust these companies to be competitive! They're all in cahoots!
btw, Anthony helped me unhook the trailer today and I was able to get the truck out. He says he'll be back by tomorrow. I'll get him to help me finish unloading it if Wesley is in a hurry for it then I can get it back to him. I know I don't need all the bricks on this one project, and I was trying to figure the best place to unload, front or back, but I didn't reach any conclusions. lol.
I still don't have gravel to put under the bottom layer to help level the retaining wall, but I don't know why I couldn't use quikcrete. It should level out as easily, if not easier, than gravel, and I could set the first layer on it. Who cares if it concretes up? Is there a reason other than anticipating moving the wall one of these days? What do you think?
Least costly for the moment is I already have the quikcrete, but the 80# bags actually cost the same as the bags of gravel, so it's prolly six of one and half a dozen of the other. I guess if this is a bad idea, I will have to go to stines and buy rocks. :-\
Noo, don't bring the old clunker back! You go ahead and fight it when you have to pull around a hundred and two times to get it to start, and then the front drive might lock up. It's too late, it's found it's new home. Hope it's still running well after you worked on it.
Did not see Anthony all day, but sure did appreciate Kay sending Curt and Cody! I had half of the bricks unloaded already but their help made quick work of the rest of it! The little cub is sure a big step saver. We unloaded the big trailer onto the little one; it came to one little trailer and then a bit--prolly a third little trailer load. We stacked them all by the project site. Made me miss my big, strong boys. Haven't had that kinda unloading help since my kiddos got grown! Curt pulling the trailer back to Clayton saved me a run this evening. Thanks again to Wesley and to Anthony, Curt, and Cody for their assist.
Yeah. We know how Wesley wants his toys home at dark, he could come calling with a switch. We have his other trailer now so he had none. We'll be keeping this one a spell though, Community service.
lol. that's a good story abt gpa kelly coming after his saw fm gpa johnny. I'm glad mama shared that story with us enough times that we can still recall and laugh abt it. I wish I knew all her stories. I'm very glad for the ones I remember.
I never tired of her stories. I hardly see how she found the time to tell each of us the stories, songs, and lullabies. I can't seem to un-busy myself long enough to pass them along to our grandkids, a regret.

lol. You forced them to go shopping! Don't think you are going to trade them the old one for this one. Kay is looking too proud of this one already!
i know... now i feel bad.. it went from humorous to shame
I have one of Wesley's flatbed trailers over here. Do you think if I keep it long enough, he'll go buy another one and I can have this one? lol.
heeheehee ... this could turn out after all! I'm thinking I better get it unloaded tomorrow and take it home. It would never work for me!
I like the Honda. Real nice.
The gravel is for darainage and shifting/settling of the ground. Use the concrete if you wish. It's yours.
My ground is hard as a rock. It never shifts or settles. lol
So, you are saying, "Screw it up if you want to, but that's not what I'd do"?
I'd do it the least costly way. Then I'd redo it the way I should have done it the first time.

I still fancy that new honda. Maybe I can borrow it when aaron brings the old mower back. hahaha

That's actually why I went for this particular model, the Honda engine. That and the after Thanksgiving sale, that is.
:) yup it going good ...thx
She's very sleek, and her recoil is smooth as honey :)
Awww. And I thought I was gonna get to borrow the new honda when he brought the clunker home! Spoil sport!
I don't think I bought a single thing on post-TG sale. Everything I needed, I needed with or without a sale and I don't think I got a sale on a thing!
As many times as we've borrowed the new Cub Cadet.
I had a list. Trouble with my list is all the early birds got there first. Mowers weren't on their lists, I guess.
I almost bought a cowgirl figurine that wasn't on my list. I needed one real bad too.
lol.
heh, that cub is my workhorse. it does more hauling than mowing!
ha ha
That was not funny!!! I told hubby that you bought your wife a new honda, THEN I scrolled to the bottom. Shame on you!!

I dunno guys, it says Honda right there on the top.
