Fathers Day 2011

This past weekend I was treated by my boys to an especially enjoyable day on the Tensas river. It was a great way to kick back, relax, and take a short swim. Dodging the flying carp was particularly fun, locally known as silver bullets, and no one was seriously hurt by the occasional collisions. Anthony is absent from this trip, he went to Biloxi with friends and then went directly to work the evening he got home. We were wishing he was here too as my family is and always will be my greatest asset. This is a collage of short 15-30 second clips from my camera, and put together as a Quick Time Movie. My apologies, between my legacy computers and Multiply's flash converter, I am having a grand 'ol time trying to get this video up and working. Hopefully, I will get a good copy up sometime in the near future. Meantime maybe just click on download original and watch it on your PC or MAC.

Video is broken. I'll repost when I get it to work.

It's not broken, it's just resource hungry flash doesn't play well with my old PC. Everybody needs a Mac.

nope, not broken. looks like it was perfect weather for an outing on the river. gotta be a good swimmer to be willing to jump in off of a boat. used to own a race boat and skis we took out on lake mount houston (lake east houston?) all the time. adrian used to come borrow it a lot too. same thing. gotta be comfortable on the water to have that kinda fun.
