You can if you have a tag. We just entered all our names in drawings for more gator tags to be given away by the wildlife & fisheries. More chances. I personally don't hunt 'em. I think nuisance gators are treated different. This one's for eating, the tail, legs, and back, I'm told.
oh...? i thought you were supposed to put salt on them, stretch them out and hang them to dry....? either way, you tell curt to remember his 'auntie lee' when he starts to make something with that skin.

The tail is very good if ground into meatballs and deep fried.You'll have to ask a Cajun if any of the rest of it is any good.
