borrowed from the bank to buy this 4 horse trailer (credit building). Can squeeze about 8-10 head in here.
Curt is steadily pushing toward his vision of being a modest cattleman.
Here are the most recent photos of his Charolais and horses Easter Day.
I suppose he will get there, he just turned 19 yesterday.

nice levy shots. good looking charolais and horses. that app has a ton of freckles! lol
the young one, did he buy a colt or did one of his horses foal? shots are too long range for me to tell if those are quarterhorses or thoroughbreds. Which does he have/prefer. imo, quarterhorses make much better cattle horses; i.e, working horses, (and rodeo horses), but if he were to want to distance race 'em, the thoroughbred would be the better choice
It's dottie's colt and the bay in the background is the sire. I think the other one in the back is a pinto, although I keep hearing it called a paint.
paint and pinto is the same.
This is much like it is over hear in the rural parts. Good cattle you have there...
To me, yeah, but don't tell that to the APHA. They have some rigorous markings standards to qualify.
Rural is the only way I know. I wouldn't survive long in the big concrete metropolis, too confining.
These belong to my youngest boy, I have a small parcel of land that I will be passing along in title shortly.
We have owned them all, quarter horses, thoroughbreds, paints, apps, palominos, roans, and shetlands, as well as a few mules, jennies and jackasses. Oh yeah, and one tennessee walking horse. Well, that is by no means all, but it is a number for us anyway. Never owned a pinto.
We had one horse we called Leo that did not have the look of a quarterhorse. I'm not sure what he was. I'm not remembering at the moment, but I may recollect. He's the one that hind-kicked Benjamin in the chest and nearly scared the life out of me at the time. Never walk upon a skittish horse from behind when it has its head in the feeding trough, not within reach of its hooves anyway. Probably was a quarterhorse (since most of our horses were AQHA) that I just didn't care for after that. lol.
Have owned a ton of horses back in the day, have rode quite a few more.....
