Reunion 2006

a small family and extended family gathering that seems to get smaller every year or it just seems that way to those of us that grew up on reunions. we were totally bored with them as teenagers but as we've have gotten older have realised the significance of families gathering together to show their solidarity and share some of our common interests. the newest additions to the family clan are especially welcomed, we have new babies that we love to meet and adopt into our club, and hope the best for them and many years of life and their own reunions to come.

is this a 3 in 1 add in?

Byron @ said...

huh? what is a 3 in 1 add in? no, this is a group picture with chas, who although he couldn't be here because of prior obligations, he dropped by in spirit to make sure things were done right (and to pick up his t-shirt) ;o).

So nice to see everyone together having fun! We sure wish we could have been there. Byron, as always your BBQ looks mouthwatering.

did you rent the BBQ-er or does someone in the family own that?

Meg Dunn said...

who designed the t-shirts? do you have t-shirts every time you have a reunion?

I'm so glad we could make it after all. Love you guys.

it was good but can't take all the credit. the chicken showed up a little late and jim hustled to clean, season, and babysit a roaring inferno to make it come out right.

lotus, heather came over to tell us to tell you & francis that they weren't going to buy you and francis anything for christmas because they can't afford it, so you shouldn't get them anything, you can get the babies something if you want. we have enjoyed her company 3 times this evening. i second that reply......rofl.

Glad everyone seem to like them.

We had a blast at the reunion and it was great getting to see many family members we haven't seen in about 4 years now. Hopefully there won't be as much time between the next time we can all get together.

Great shot of the Cirilo State Park. It was a spectacular location for the reunion and I can't thank you guys enough for hosting. We really enjoyed the whole weekend.

twas but a small thing and a huge privilege to open our humble home to such a great family. without everyone showing up, things would have been quite dull around here. enjoyed the company tremendously, and hope we can all gather again another year.
