Amazing transformation, Bro!

I recognize that door. Sure is a change from the one that was there.

Sweet! Just an overwhelming difference. It looks great.

This is the biggest surprise of all. Kay can go straight from the house into the laundry room. No telling how many points you got for that trick!
I really like the results of this project. Great work as usual.

Opening up the closet was the best idea yet, and evolved from your use of your closet area in Debbie's office. When someone gave me a 24" door, it was on.
My intent was to keep half a closet but that changed when I saw the additional square footage it added to the den. Additional storage shelving was required for the
loss.

That is the old front door replacing the rotted back one.

32" fan lite by Masonite. By surprise, we discovered a 34" rough in opening, possibly even a 36". Oh well.

I can hardly take any responsibility for this. It is a great result, and a genuinely 10+ idea.

What a coincidence. I have the identical old front stored stored in the attic until a project for it appears.
Great minds . . .

No point in sweating the coulda beens. This works.

Well, you know what they say about old folks and their property.
I've been told my yard looks like an elderly person lives here.

Byron @ said...

Yeah. Old guys have to prove their worth somehow ;)

Our girls are proud enough that we are still working . . .

Lydia Carroll said...

Yeah, well good for you, you old geezers. ; )

Charles Cirilo said...

It's when we stop working they quit being proud.

New bed?

Lotus' discard. I was going to make a bench, but Anthony needed it for the girls who have only a frame so I threw a little paint and support slats on it.

Lydia Carroll said...

Lotus discarded something?! Did you chk to see if she was clothed and in her right mind?! ;)

Sure shows off the care you are giving your home.
Details get by the uninitiated in home remodeling. A little experience with it and t becomes clearer just how much time and effort can go into these projects.

It's all in the details. Comparatively, this project went pretty quick, and I've already forgotten how many late hours I spent every evening to get something done.
I have some more plumbing to do to finish this up but there's no urgency to it. There is no longer exposed wiring and water lines looping everywhere, a huge
improvement.
