Remember how if we didn't get the victory at church we got it when we got home? That's how it works around here. I tell 'em, "be productive or you're gonna get it".

I long ago decided to keep the victory. By doing so I don't have to run the aisles to get primed up. I just stand there and smile - sometimes.

i like the one with the wings. it states that those dreams are going to come true. now that would give me the victory!

i like my church. they are very happy when someone gets the victory. otherwise they are very happy.
they have absolutely no expectations of you and i am finally able to face god with who i am. its the hardest thing ive ever done--you know, be responsible for my thots and actions without a bunch of rules to line up under. it develops integrity with god if you are a person of integrity in the first place. if not, well, you're kinda like heather, always doing what you do to make a point or an impression--get approval, et al.
ive been slow, but I'm finally getting somewhere.

reminds me of a saying on a placard at my desk. It's from an employee handbook of i forget who's:

"Use your best judgement; there will be no additional rules".

places a lot on your shoulders, doesnt it?

actually no, it's the same as what you were saying. And besides, it doesn't get any better than my best, takes out all the struggling.

i embrace the responsiblity. its a good thing to Get to do your best just because its what you do.
