Who will watch over me

I keep a copy of this by my desk at work. It is the anti-thesis of what my lawyer once told me about sticking my neck out for others.

Not my article but thought I would share it anyway.

I fear the knock is already upon the door. Observe, Dr Kervorkian, and planned parenthood's founder. There are others.

in my opinion, sometimes being your brother's keeper means putting them out of their misery.

it is sad that they only way this woman can be allowed to die is by starving her to death. we kill criminals more humanely than that.

terri shiavo was not yet three years old when margaret sanger died in 1966. sanger did not declare terri schiavo "human waste" and what is the point in libeling the dead?

i fully agree with you, son. and i'm proud of you as well for being a thoughtful, caring human being. turning the machines off is sometimes the kindest and most loving thing you can do, as is helping the terminally ill die with dignity. If we want our loved ones to live and die in dignity, we ought to think twice before suspending them in the last stage of irreversible dementia & illness.

some people make an art of missing the point. one person's gnat is another's camel.
