Some of your fountains are stunningly beautiful, and adding the flaming effect to increase your repertoire for your commercial interests would increase yours and your clients liabilities substantially. My fountains are produced individually as works of art, and not mass produced.

btw, what was your question?

I was just wondering how you fed the gas and managed to keep the ignition system consisitent. WaterFX uses highly complex computers and safety management systems and i thought there must be an easier way for my customer. I have talked my architect out of the idea as the fountain was inside anyway but would still like to try it one day. All my fountaqins are custom made for all my clients and we only have two models that we wholesale (mass produce). Were as small company and just like to do things a little different than the rest and flames are definatly in fashion. Thanks for your replies, most appreciated

seems no ones heard of the energy crunch?

no problem, i apprreciate your interest. waterfx displays are meant to be impressive. you are right, though, there are easier ways. think simple.

Yes, we know. I had posted a recipe for you: El amor es fuego, pero con el no se cuece el puchero

Byron @ said...

I would need more information as to your specific needs, such as placement, size, intended use, etc.

maybe he/she will get back in touch with you if serious abt purchasing one. wonder where they are located? i know one thing, your fountains are beautiful! i'd like to have one too, someday, when i ever have a place for one!

I live in Illinois with my wife and child and have about an acre of open back yard. I have a nice size pool with deck and a seperate patio and I would like to place a flaming fountain somewhere in between the two. Gas supply is no problem since I,m running a gas line from the main to the pool and the fountain lines up perfectly. As for size I would have to say maybe 5ft high with flames accordingly. The base would be about 8ft across and then to set this fountain inside this base. Whatever information you need let me know. Thanks

HELLO ANYBODY HOME?????????????????????????

lol. he's working today adn away fm the computer. also, he's been in the middle of a big bathroom remodel at home, so he may not have been chking this multiply regular the last week or so. if i talk to him today, i'll mention you are trying to reach him abt the fountain. :)

Do you mind me asking what purpose the gas line serves for the swimming pool? A flaming fountain will require a minimum of a 3/4 inch supply line, in addition to an electrical service outlet that is GFI protected for the water pump, and a drain for cleaning your pool. All 3 of these need to be installed prior to any actual masonry work.
Ordinarily, the purchaser provides the receptacle, whether it be a birdbath, an antique or reproduction urn or vase, or what have you, and I custom build the plumbing & mechanics, such as sizing the pump, to match your choice of fountain, and the actual size of your "pond"or pool. Many variables are possible, and there are many suitable fountains out there, but the gas and/or water line installs directly into your fountain. Pictures, simple drawings of your concept of what you want it to look like, and measurement are always welcomed. Please take a look at this album and any others with the flaming fountain "tag" for an idea of a simple drawing as well as some of the other pictures that will help to explain the basic starting points. http://tejasmidget.multiply.com/photos/album/41
