oh! so sweet. your very first. now you can start another box for the attic. you can be like the rest of us and not only will you have kids stuff you'll have grandkid stuff to store for decades! i got my first card fm emmy last year and i am saving it too!
i'm so happy that you get to know the joys of grandparent-hood. i was once impressed with the fact that our grandma cirilo stopped the postman so she could tell him about all her grandkids. what impressed me most is that her most braggadocious ( i'm like edgar allen poe, i make up words cause it fits) part was not how much she loved us but how much we all loved her. it seemed ok for her to say it that way as i thought that was a part of what made her so unique. now that i'm a grandma, i've become a little unique myself. i know how much i love our bumpkins but i get this lump in my throat when at the end of every phone conversation he says... i wuv you maw-maw bye bye!
God made grandkids to boost old age with a happier and fuller ending. (quote: by me) ha!
